Sorry, not sorry, for the well-worn sweaty cap in this blog post, but I needed to show you just how much I love my LIVIN cap and my LIVIN singlet.
LIVIN is a charity whose mantra is 'It Ain't Weak To Speak' and mission is to help minimise the negative stigma around mental health and suicide prevention. This charity is very close to my heart for reasons I'm not ready to talk about here just yet, but let me say this: if you're going to really nail a Christmas gift, then let it be some badass gear from LIVIN which not only looks great, but helps to support an amazing organisation at the same time!
LIVIN became a huge part of my family's world in July 2015 and every year since then we've made it our Christmas mission to buy the latest threads for our family - young and old. LIVIN's activewear is seriously nice, the designs young and fun and their accessories (i.e. school bags, caps, water bottles, etc) all have serious street cred.
They have their Classic Collection, nice tee's in their Summer Collection, the best hoodies for men, the cutest kids' clothing and the coolest caps, backpacks and water bottles you ever did see. Their stuff often sells out in the lead up to Christmas, so get in quick to secure your gifts!
The best bit about the LIVIN gear? Is that when other people see you wearing it or see the slogan 'It Ain't Weak To Speak' it often leads to starting conversations - or in my case - makes me feel comforted that people care and are part of the LIVIN family.
LIVIN have amazing information on their website about many mental health conditions from depression to anxiety, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar to name but a few. They also have helpful links in case you might want to explore your own symptoms. They also concisely show you - or someone you love - how to get help if you need it.
So if there is a gift you want to give this year, then check out LIVIN and support a charity at the same time. The LIVIN community thanks you!
