VIRTUAL FITTINGS

A Virtual Fitting is a short Facetime or Zoom call with one of our fitters, where they'll take a look at how your bra is fitting, answer questions, and give size advice.

FAQs

What happens during a Virtual Fitting?

On your video call, your fitter will ask to see you in your bra without a shirt on, and talk you through what she's noticing about the fit. She'll ask you questions and be able to answer any fitting questions you have as well.

She'll guide you through any adjustments you can make yourself, the exact same way she does with in-person fittings in our showrooms.

After you get off the call, she'll email you a follow-up recap just noting everything she talked about and her sizing suggestions, so you don't have to stress about forgetting!

How much does it cost?

Virtual Fittings are 100% free.

There is no purchase obligation, and you can absolutely book a Virtual Fitting if you've never bought anything from us before.

How long does it take?

Virtual Fittings are quick - we allot 15 minutes for the call, but often you'll already have all your answers in less than 10 minutes.

I'm nervous about taking my top off!

Understandable!

We know it can feel really weird and vulnerable to be on camera in just your bra. We wouldn't ask you to if it wasn't super helpful in giving you fitting advice.

Our fitters fit by eye, and they've been doing fittings for ages now - they have sort of a spidey sense for your correct bra size just by seeing you!

Your fitter will never see you completely undressed, just in your bra. No one besides your fitter will be able to see you on the call.

We know this feels really unusual to you, but this is your fitter's full time job! The same fitters who conduct fittings in our showrooms are the ladies who run Virtual Fittings - they've seen it all, and they just want to help you find a size that looks and feels great.

How can you tell my size without measuring me?

We'll send you a short survey when you book your Virtual Fitting, where we'll ask you to take a few measurements for us and give us a little bit more info about your current size.

However, measurements are often not as helpful as you'd think! We see them as one of the tools in our tool belt to help you find your size, but especially with fuller busts, measurements aren't the end all be all.

The single most helpful tool we have is just looking at you. Our fitters fit by eye, so they know which key fit indicators to look for in your current bra, and can tell what size adjustments need to happen based on those.

Who will I be speaking with?

All of our Virtual Fittings ladies are professional bra fitters in our MARVELL LANE showrooms - they know a thing or two about fuller busts!

Depending on which day of the week you book, you'll speak with one of these ladies:

Charlotte: Our customer service queen and general manager of the Byron showroom.

Alley: Our social media manager and Brisbane fitter.

Grace: Our marketing girl and Brisbane showroom manager.

Rachael: ML's owner and designer. You might have heard of her!

Do I have to have a Marvell Lane bra?

Nope!

Virtual Fittings are actually great if you've never bought anything from us before, and you're looking for sizing advice before your first order. Just wear your best-fitting bra for your fitting, and your fitter will take it from there.

Of course, if you do own a MARVELL LANE bra, that's very helpful! Every brand runs a bit differently on sizing, so being able to see you in an ML bra will let you fitter give a more confident size recommendation.

My internet connection isn't great!

That's okay!

If you know your home internet struggles with video calls, a Virtual Fitting might not be the right choice. It's important that your fitter can see and hear you clearly to help you out.

If you know your wifi probably can't handle a video call, we recommend submitting an E-Fitting instead here, and making sure you upload a few good photos of yourself from the front, side, and back.

One of our fitters will email you with sizing advice and any follow-up questions.
